Ife Adebara, PhD
Cognitive Systems in Linguistics.
Hi! I just completed my PhD in Linguistics advised by Dr Abdul-Mageed! Yah! My thesis: Towards Afrocentric Natural Language Processing focused on developing AI technologies for African languages. I was able to develop models and resources for 517 African languages and language varieties. I am also broadly interested in policy, particularly on how it relates to data availability for low resource languages.
